KVSM Technical Specifications

- high-cycle symmetrical small-scale cable in accordance with ST TOO 41021646-05-2007 (Company Standard);

- ultimate operating temperature in stationary condition from  -40°С (at assembling works from -10°С ) to +60°С, degree of air humidity up to 98%, at temperature to +35°С;

- electrical resistance to DC for a length of 1km electrical conductor at temperature of +20⁰С with diameter of: 0.4mm – not more than 148 Ohm; 0.5mm – not more than 95 Оhm; 0.6mm - not more than 65.8 Ohm; 0.64mm - not more than 58 Ohm; 0.7mm - not more than 48 Ohm; 0.8mm - not more than 36.6 Ohm;

- electrical resistance to DC of insulation for a length of 1km electrical conductor at temperature of +20⁰С - not less than 5000 MOhm;

- testing DC voltage for 1 min, impressed between cores and a shield – 750V; impressed between cores of working pairs – 1000V;

- service capacity for a length of 1km high-frequency cable, frequency 1kHz,  40±6 pF;

- crossing attenuation between pairs at 150m length, frequency 1024kHz - not less than 80 dB; frequency 2048 kHz - not less than 60 dB;

KVSM Cable Structure

- copper electrical conductors in accordance with TU 3518 PK 4043838373-TOO-17-2003 (Company Standard);

- PE insulation in accordance with TU 6-11-00203335-97-95;

- two cores are twisted in a pair;

- each pair is shielded, tinned wire under a shield, PVC compound cover;

- a module is marked by longitudinal colored tape or with a color of a module;

- color of electrical conductors is in accordance with ST TOO 41021646-05-2007 (Company Standard);

- modules are twisted in sub-units, then the sub-units twisted in a strand;

- PVC compound cover, in accordance with GOST 5960-72 (State Standard).

KVSMep Cable Structure

- the same as KVSM, with shield of aluminum polyethylene tape, with tinned copper wire, PE insulation.

KVSM Application

KVSM meant for customer-access networks equipped with systems of digital loop carrier (xDSL) at transmission speed up to 4096 kbit/s and for remote power supply up to DC200V or AC125V as well as in digital local networks at the transmission speed up to 16 Mbit/s. Cable is used for single indoor laying in buildings and telecommunication stations (for external laying on the building walls and in sewage cabling).

KVSMep Application

KVSMep is used for external laying in sewage systems, on the building walls, tunnels and on a carrier cable.
